I love Hamel’s work. Not the first I have read and not the first I have reviewed. She knows just have to pull you in to the story that she is trying to tell. She wants to put you in the center of what is going on so you can relate to the character and follow them on their journey.
Kylie runs away from an abusive father. She leaves California and ends up in Alaska with nothing but the clothes on her back. She is unable to find shelter from the cold. She is curled up in from a closed store. Carson is walking home from work and finds her there. There is just something about her once their eyes meet. He takes her back to his place to take care of her. But there is something hidden that could bring what that have crumbling down. There is always the fact that he is like twice her age. Want to see if there is a HEA. You will have to read and find out all the details.
