The Crimson Throne- Book Review

I was asked to read this book by the Author. This is her first book. I was not sure what I would find in this book. I found the writing smooth. I was instantly excited by Sadie. I love her sharp tongue and that she did not just give in what was happening to her. The fighter in her just took over. Living most of her life trapped behind wall that were supposed to protect her from the monsters outside the walls. A world taken over by the creatures of the dark side. A world that was no longer in the hands of Humankind. I have to say that I love the way the world was put together. The race to see who will claim the throne and there is no doubt that blood will run freely. This lays a good foundation of this story and the world it takes place in. Can’t wait to see what comes of the rest of this wonderful cast of characters. I can’t wait for a second book and maybe more if we are lucky.

Blood Curse- Book Review

bloodI got this as an ARC for my Honest opinion and review.  This is the third book in this series. I enjoy Mel a little more each time I read another book in her story. In this installment someone has put a curse on Mel. She is searching for the individual that has done this to her. She is battling a lot to get that piece of information and it is weakening her to the point of madness. Will Mel find the one behind it all or will the blood curse win? You will have to grab your own copy to find out.

To the Falls- Book Review

to the falls

I got this as an ARC for my honest opinion and review.  I love the whole guardian and having to travel to whole new place to explore. The description in this novel was so lovely and vivid. I love Kali as the heroine. The rest of the cast to this novel just bring it all together. Lucas is just perfect for Kali. Add in a best friend who is spunky and fashion friendly, magic and will to save a deep sacred part of one’s self and wow. This was a great debut novel. Can’t wait to see what happens next.

The Virgin Market- Book Review

I got this as an ARC for my honest opinion and review. This is a dark romance. I never used to read these until recently. I find that I enjoy them very much. Sarah’s family owes a debt and they use Sarah in exchange for that debt. She goes through training and she does not fight it. It gives the impression that she was enjoying it a bit more than she letting on. She gets a bit closer to Damien than Trevor. It was a good read for me. I read it all in one setting.

Lightning Strikes Twice- Book Review

cover_mdkI got this as an ARC for my honest opinion and review. I read and reviewed the book that came before this one. So I know Tylira from where the last book left off. She had manage to save the world once, but she is scared that she will not get lucky twice. This book switches locations. Her and Rusk end up in the middle of a battle. Someone wants them dead because she could be the only one that can stop them. I did think that Tylira did a few things that came off childish. I can’t wait to read the next book.

Virgin’s Daddy- Book Review

I got this as an ARC for my honest opinion and review. I am not new to this author at all. I have read a few piece of her work.  They are erotic and sweet all rolled up into a slightly messy package, but if it is not messy something is being done wrong. Sadie come from old money and her family thinks that means they can run all parts of her life. They force her to sign up for a sell a date auction. They have a guy all picked out for her and they believe he will win. One Gavin a self-made man comes in and sees her and has to make her his. Sadie’s family does everything in their power to stop them from being together. Will Sadie finally get something she wants or will her family get their way? You are going to have to read and find out all the details.

Rory VS Rockstar- Book Review

I got this as an ARC for my honest opinion and review. I love the Mona Cox books. They seems to leave you wanting more and more. This is done with two authors. Have to give a shoot out to Jess Bentley. Hey Girl. This was masterfully done. Rory is struggling in both her professional life and her personal life. Two people who are important to her are getting married soon and she puts off that she is not jealous. But it sucks to be single. She meets Arsen when he runs his car in to her house. He passes out on her couch after the accident. He is hot and sexy but they are both denying the music that is between them. But he keeps building and building each time they meet up. So does Rory get her rockstar or is this just another rock ballad gone wrong?
