Rebel’s Honor-Book Review

I got this book to give my honest opinion. I was not sure what I getting into. I did kind of get a steampunk, fantasy/ sci-fi feel. It is a genres I am trying to get into. I am not sure what to say about this book. It is a good read.

This is about Lynx who is a proud warrior. She wants to do right by her people, but something changes. An arranged marriage and a prophecy. Her husband to be is Lukan. Who is doing his best to keep his empire from becoming a footnote in history. He did not know of the prophecy that came with that is almost like a cure. Now is love going to be enough to keep them save and moving forward? You will have to find out when you get your own copy.

New Writing Projects

I have been trying to do some writing and I am kind of torn between a couple of idea and I am not sure that to focus my energy on. I was going to try a Cyberpunk idea, but that did not come together. So I am not sure what to do next. I have a Vampire idea and a Steampunk Idea that I am working on. The vampire one is a training school for different position among the vampire elite. The steampunk is an academy as well. I am going to have to see what my mind pulls out of my mind.

I have been trying to get something to write since I did NaNoWriMo. I can’t seem to pull anything together into a good or okay outline. Maybe I need to change my writing location for awhile. I am going out of town for a few days. That why I can do some new ideas. That is all that I can do. I am going to try to work this all out. I will keep you updated on what I have decided to do. Thanks for taking the time to listen to me ramble.

London Steampunk Novellas. Books Review

I have recently started to read the London Steampunk Series by Bec McMaster. The series is very good. But I found in reading the series their have been a few Novellas in the series a well. I started with Blade’s Escape. It was Six pages long and it was the 0.5 of the Novellas. It was introducing Blade(Henry to the us all). I loved it and moved on to book 1 which have already posted a review for.

Then I moved on to Lena’s Decision. That gave us Lena making choices of what to do with her future and wanting back into the folds of High Society. Wanting to trade of lifestyle for another. This did not take all that long to read either. The whole things about 22 pages. IT was great. Can’t want to see what comes next for her. Will she meet the society gentleman and have her life there. Or could Will still be close to her heart. This was the 1.1 of the novellas.

Then came Tarnished Knight and this is Esme and Rip (John)’s story. This one did make me a little frustrated and a bit crazy. I am not sure if these to would get over and leave all the misunderstandings behind. It has me tied in more knots than I knew what to do with.

They were all great reads and I can’t wait to get to the other Novella that comes later in the series. I believe it is a 3.5. But soon I am going to start book 2. It is called Heart of Iron. I will post a review as soon as I have read it. As for now Happy Reading. If you have a book you think I should read. Comment and let me know.
