Forsaken- Book Review

I got this as an ARC for my honest opinion and review. I was so excited when I saw that they two authors. I was not at all disappointed. I love that dark emotional side. IT was also a Mafia book which I do enjoy. Grace had not has the best of life. Her father has never accepted her since she is not a son that he could mold into a killer and mobster like himself. She is beaten and her own father has planned to have her kidnapped. Gio is the son of a rival family. He is a hardened killer and does not even blink when he is asked to do his job. They tempt him with Grace and he could hardly say no. So will Grace and Gio get the freedom they both crave? You will have to read and find out.

 

 

 

 

 

Insatiable- Book Review

I got this as an ARC for my honest opinion and review. This is my first book by Sophia Desmond. It did have a bit of a slow start and Tara did kind of come off as a bit of a brat. She leaves law school to become a model. She uses the modeling to feed her drug habit. She has a mob ex-boyfriend that is after her. That is when the agency get her a contract with the Boss. He has wants and needs that Tara has to obey to keep her safe from her problems. So will it always just be a contract or will it turn into something more? You will have to get a copy and find out.

 

 

 

 

 

His Little Angel- Book Review

I got this as an ARC for my honest opinion and review. The more of the books that I read by April Lust the more I become a deeper fan. Plus this is a mafia romance and I have been reading a lot of them. I just love how they are done. Isabella is a sweet young Italian who Zane meets a bar. They have a lovely one night stand. Only for Zane to find out from his father that Isabella is no random girl that she is actually the daughter of his former second in command who died years ago. She was left a huge amount of money and now her life is on the line for people to take it from her. Zane is sent to keep her safe, but will it go the way he wants. Will he save them or will they become real angels? You are going to have to read to find out.

 

 

 

 

 

Valetti Crime Family- Book Review

I got this as an ARC for my honest opinion and review. I have read several books by Willow Winters. I had only read a couple of those in this set before getting this complete set allowing me to read the rest of them. I was pleased to be able to read them all. I have to stay that Dirty Dom is still by far my favorite of the series. I do love the Mafia and Mob style that is going on in books right now. Willow does a wonderful job in this writing style. You want to know how each of the five books turns out you will have to read them and fall in love with them like I did.

 

 

 

 

 

Easton’s Crime- Book Review

I got this from the author for my honest opinion and review. This is by first book by this author. I love mafia books and it could be the Irish girl in me trying to get out. Easton has always had everything he wants when he wants it. He knows no other way. Masie is broken-hearted and is scared to date again. Her friend tells her it is time for her to get back out there. That is how she falls head over heels for a complete stranger on the dating site.  Easton is on the site to catfish another member on the site and that is when he comes across Masie. There is a lot of emotion stress in his book. But will this change for Masie once she finds out about his family? You will just back to grab a copy and find out.

I borrowed this from Amazon since another review told me about this author. I like the writing style and it has good flow. Maddie is running from her family. All she has is her laptop and a little money. When it starts to run low she makes videos. She is building a fan base. Jax is hired to bring her back. An assignment that should have been simple enough, but when he sees her he only has one thought. He has to have her. Will Jax get Maddie or will he completely his assignment?

I got this as an ARC for my honest opinion and review. I got this a while back and have been reading and re-reading. It is a collection of 13 stories by thirteen amazingly gifted authors. Among my favorites are: Crystal Kaswell and Willow Winters. There is a little something here for all the lovers of romance genre. I have even come to find some new authors who I came to love after reading this collection.

 

 

 

 

 

Black Hat Hacker- Book Review

I got this book as an ARC for my honest opinion and review. I have always loved books and movies about hackers. This book did not let me down at all. Henry is this epic and alpha hacker. He is working for the Chicago Mafia. He develops a relationship with his boss’ daughter, Mary. I like how they came together. They are clever and sexy. This is the sixth book in a series but it can be read as a standalone. It was done well enough that you will not be confused if you have not read the other books.

I got this as an ARC for my honest opinion and review. I have read several books by this author. Beth’s fiancé is murder and the murderer ends up in prison. Alessio blames Beth for him ending up in prison. Alessio is the head of a crime family. It is a little twists and turns. They spent a night together. Royally Bad- Book Review

I got this as an ARC for my honest opinion and review. This is not my first book by this author. So I was looking forward to reading this book. Sammy has agreed to help with Wedding. She his the dressmaker after all. She has been trying to avoid Kain Badd. He is sexy, dangerous and a prince as well. Unknown to Sammy Kain’s has some connection to the underworld. When cops come into the Wedding and Sammy ends up spending a night in jail. There is so much on the line that Sammy has no one to turn to by her Badd Prince. Will he be able to protect her?
