This is the third and final book in this trilogy. I can’t even tell you how intense this book was. There was a lot to twists and turns that kept me on the edge of my bed. It was an imaginative book and I loved it. The only bad thing about this series is that it is over. I could have used a little more…..that is a lie….I want a lot more. That in itself tells you that is was a great read.
This is the second book in the trilogy. After reading the first one I was excited to just in to the next one and I did just that. I had to find out what happened to Ian. It being a sequel it continued perfectly from that last one. There were a few time I was biting my nails as I read it. I love books that get the reader involved. I don’t like to have spoilers in my reviews. The third book’s review will be up soon.
I got these from one for the read review sites that I belong to and the author and I have talked. I love books that give the feeling of being right there with the characters. I felt like I had fallen in the world that she created. It makes the story that she is telling more believe and I read it in a couple of days. It was worth the read and I might even read it again. It is the first part of a trilogy and there are all the rage in the book work today. I have the other two in the trilogy and will be post those shortly as well.
I was provided with a complimentary copy of this book so I could give an honest review. I knew going in this was the first book in a series and knows that it was going to give me chills and take me on an adventure. I was not disappointed. Emma is a very strong character even with all that she has been through. It made me want to share the journey that she was going on. I can’t want to get my hands on the next book.
I was asked to read this book by the Author. This is her first book. I was not sure what I would find in this book. I found the writing smooth. I was instantly excited by Sadie. I love her sharp tongue and that she did not just give in what was happening to her. The fighter in her just took over. Living most of her life trapped behind wall that were supposed to protect her from the monsters outside the walls. A world taken over by the creatures of the dark side. A world that was no longer in the hands of Humankind. I have to say that I love the way the world was put together. The race to see who will claim the throne and there is no doubt that blood will run freely. This lays a good foundation of this story and the world it takes place in. Can’t wait to see what comes of the rest of this wonderful cast of characters. I can’t wait for a second book and maybe more if we are lucky.
I got this as an ARC for my honest opinion and review. I love the whole guardian and having to travel to whole new place to explore. The description in this novel was so lovely and vivid. I love Kali as the heroine. The rest of the cast to this novel just bring it all together. Lucas is just perfect for Kali. Add in a best friend who is spunky and fashion friendly, magic and will to save a deep sacred part of one’s self and wow. This was a great debut novel. Can’t wait to see what happens next.
I got this as an ARC for my honest opinion and review. I read and reviewed the book that came before this one. So I know Tylira from where the last book left off. She had manage to save the world once, but she is scared that she will not get lucky twice. This book switches locations. Her and Rusk end up in the middle of a battle. Someone wants them dead because she could be the only one that can stop them. I did think that Tylira did a few things that came off childish. I can’t wait to read the next book.
I got this on Amazon after I saw a post for the author on Facebook. I have been reading a lot more outside my comfort zone. I love fantasy and been reading it for a while but have drifted away from it and going back to it now. Tylira is a princess who has been locked away in her castle. She wants her freedom from being connected to a defeated General. To do this she must find an item that is called the Teeth of the Gods. This will gain her favor towards what she seeks. She sees to be a little bratty and selfish, but she can be strong and intelligent at times. She does seem to jump in with both feet all the time. Her journey with trying to connect with her own magical abilities was fascinating.
I was given a copy of this book by the author for my honest opinion and review. This is the first book I have read by this author and looking forward to reading the next one. Ana is a normal teen who goes to school and is bullied. Ana is having dreams that she just assumes are nightmares, but there is more them than even she knows. She has been through her own share of tragedy. She is having a little trouble with what is real and what is lies since so much was kept from her by her mother and so-called best friend. She wants to understand what she is destined to do? It has a cliffhanger just so you know. Grab a copy and enjoy the ride.
I got this for my honest opinion and review. This is my first book by Jenetta Penner. If all of her work is like this one it will not be my last. It has been awhile since I have read any YA. I would like to read some more. Avlyn was born a twin but due to the way society is set up they are separated. She is taken in by adoptive parents. Her whole life is planned out of her. There are rebel attacks going on in the city. During this time she is getting dreams and visions of her twin brother who she has been told is dead. It really keeps one on their toes. I like there is a little bit of romance in there too. I love mysterious Meyer. Can’t wait to see what happens next.
