The Crimson Throne- Book Review

I was asked to read this book by the Author. This is her first book. I was not sure what I would find in this book. I found the writing smooth. I was instantly excited by Sadie. I love her sharp tongue and that she did not just give in what was happening to her. The fighter in her just took over. Living most of her life trapped behind wall that were supposed to protect her from the monsters outside the walls. A world taken over by the creatures of the dark side. A world that was no longer in the hands of Humankind. I have to say that I love the way the world was put together. The race to see who will claim the throne and there is no doubt that blood will run freely. This lays a good foundation of this story and the world it takes place in. Can’t wait to see what comes of the rest of this wonderful cast of characters. I can’t wait for a second book and maybe more if we are lucky.

 

 

 

 

 

Stepbrother- Book Review

I got this as an ARC for my honest opinion and review. I absolutely love this author’s work. I glad each time there is a new one. There is just something about the way that she spins that tales she writes that draw you in and never let go. This is a retelling of Cinderella. I love this version. El is a hairdresser to the stars and she wants her dreams to come true. She has lost her mother to cancer. Once her father remarried and it is to a vampire woman with two kids. Her stepsister does not take to her at all, but her stepbrother in instantly taken by her. He does not tell her this of course. Their parents are married. One day Drew decided he can’t hold back what he wants. So he just goes for it. Will El get over that he is her stepbrother? What will the family this of this? Kindred- Book Review

This was a book that was recommended that I read. So I am going to do a review for it. I have head vampires called kindreds before, but in here it is more kindred souls. Each the other half of the soul. Lucinda is a bank teller by day and her nights are filled with hunting evil vampires. It is something she is drawn to do. She is very good at her work and that draws the attention of Michel the ruler of the city. They are instantly feel the pull of each other, but Lucinda does her best to not let him pull her in. He even offers her his protection. With all the dangers of the night will Michel get Lucinda to give in to his passion? You are going to have to read it for yourself to find out.

I was given this to read and review. This is the first read by this author. This book is about Fiamette who is a club dancer and a healer. She is a about to cut and run, but she can’t run when she needs to help someone. That is how she meets Max and his crew. Max is a DJ. This is the start of her journey and does some revealing some of her background. She knows that she is in danger from being found by vampires. I got this from a review site for my honest opinion and review. This is my first book by this author. I love vampire books. I think that is what drew me to read this book. Naya is a vampire princess and the next in line to rule her kind. She takes the advice of a friend to go against all she knows and has been taught. She ends up in a human club. Vaughn sees her from across the club and just have to meet her. They both have their secrets and mysteries as part of their lives. Will their lives go together or will the secrets pull them apart?

 

 

 

 

 

Vampire Princess- Book Review

I got this book as an ARC for my honest opinion and review. This is the first book by this author. I enjoy Sasha who is a hybrid vampire. What does that mean? She is half vampire and half human. Few know that she survived that attack on her family. Her father has been imprisoned and she has been taken away and raised by two her father trusted. She is trying to be vampire princess and get through high school at the same time. Of course there is a sexy boy who seems to tempt sweet Sasha. Enter Dylan. Sasha is doing her best to be a normal high school cheerleader with friends and a boyfriend and deny the draw of their sweet blood. Will Sasha be able to pull this off?

I got this as an ARC for my honest opinion and review. I have read a few books by this author. They are quick reads and I love them. Aria is taking prisoner by the vampire king. Her father owes the king a debt and Aria is taking to pay that debt. Aria and the king do not get along. But they do grow together and once they start to feel something for each other. Then Aria goes missing. Who has taking her and will the king get her back? You will have to read and find out?

A Human’s Retribution- Book Review

This is the third and find all book in the Nightshade series. This follows the trauma of what Olivia has gone through with Eva. Plus the coming trial for her. Quinn has thrown himself into work and not spending as much time with Olivia. Olivia is going through some depression and there is the baby of course. What lots going on in this book. Over all the series was good read. I love me vampires and witches.

 

A Witch’s Vendetta- Book Review

This is the second book in the Nightshade series. Quinn and Olivia are together and doing their best to move on with their relationship now that Victor is gone. Eva a witch who has always hated vampires and wants a war has vow vengeance against the vampires. Find Quinn’s weakness and kidnaps Olivia to sacrifice her to the Goddess for eternal life. Can’t tell you any more. Want to find out what happens going to have to read it yourself.

The Shifter’s Vampire- Book Review

I got this as an ARC for my honest review. This is not my first book in by this author. This was just as good. I love the spark that happens between Leon and Yuliana it is great even with all the doubts that are going on between them. Leon is trying to do the best for his pack and is willing to take a vampire as his mate. Yuliana does not thing she is worth of love and is told by the King of Vampires that she will become the mate to the Alpha. Will spies, verge of war and dungeons this book is short read but should not be missed.
