Feeling a bit frustrated.

I know it has been a long time since I post anything that is not a book review. That will be almost stopping soon. I have been doing reviews since around December of 2016 and It is not July . I am getting married in a few days so I have been very busy. I have not been able to do them anymore. So I guess once I get the books down that I have been given that I will go back to doing something else with my blog. It was not always about books. I just to post about spooky things, my writing, and poetry. I guess I could always go back to that. I guess I will decide all of that when I am not feeling a little angry. I know I should not make judgment when I feel this. I did purge of my Facebook account. I got rid of a lot of people I don’t talk to much and left a lot of groups I am not really active anymore. Going back to hiding in my small cave I call my Universe. I am not abandoning my blog I will still be here somewhere and post will happen. I just need a little time to think. If I get over being angry I will do the remaining reviews and call it good.

Through The Heart’s Eyes- Book Review

I was provided with a complimentary cope of this book so I could give an honest review.  I just got this book today. I have to say the illustrations were amazing and the poems we wonderful. I have a personal love for poetry since I love to write it myself. This was all about different types of love. It was great. I enjoyed it a lot. The words seem to just hit home. Well worth the read.

The Soul of the Sun- Book Review

I was provided with a complimentary copy of this book so I could give an honest review.  I knew going in this was the first book in a series and knows that it was going to give me chills and take me on an adventure. I was not disappointed. Emma is a very strong character even with all that she has been through. It made me want to share the journey that she was going on. I can’t want to get my hands on the next book.

Mergers & Acquisitions- Book Review

I got this as an ARC for my honest opinion and review. I saw the cover of this and was wondering how this would compare to the other books I have read by Abby Angel. I was not disappointed. What was not to like about Ares and Lucas. Two powerful alpha male CEOs.  The two of them are rivals and know how to push each other buttons. Enter Daphne Kane and she is going to either break them down or make the stock prices rise. There is much to bring them together, but just as much to rip them apart.

Imperfect- Book Review

I got this as an ARC for my honest opinion and review. I love the stories that Willow Winters weaves. This was another amazing read to her credit. Just proves that nothing is as black and white as it seems. That the decisions that me make do change lives of others even if we don’t always see it. Mason is just doing as her father tells him and his father has done something and he is torn between reporting him. Jules is dealing with her past but along the way she runs in to Mason. She really wants him, but there are secrets that are just on the edge that could tear them apart.

Heart of Darkness- Book Review

I got this as an ARC for my honest opinion and review.  I don’t normally read sci-fi but something about the cover and story drew me to break my own rule. Indigo is only half human and the other half is android. She does what she is told without mercy. That is until she meets her next target. Ryker is like Indigo and a problem that the Institute wants to be shut down. He knows that she is there to kill him but he falls for her almost instantly. He wants to open her eyes to the Institute’s lies. Will the machine part of her win out or will the human side? You will have to read and get that little tidbit of information.

Three Words Promise- Book Review

I got this as an ARC for my honest opinion and review. I have read the books that came before this one. I got so excited when I go this book, but then it dawned me that it was the last book in the series. I did not want it to end. Akeelah has a half djinn army that is hell-bent on killing every human on the planet. Marielle would love nothing more to just run away with her love Faris, but her guilt is to heavy on her heart to her part in all of this. Marielle and Faris are the only ones who know how Akeelah got her army so they are the only ones that can destroy it. Will they be able to conquer their fears and save the world and destroy Akeelah and her evil plans? You will have to read this out of this world conclusion.

 

 

 

 

 

Marked By Hell- Book Review

I got this as an ARC for my honest opinion and review. I love the cover of this book. It has been awhile since I read a book that has angels and demons in it. I was not sure how this would compare to other books by Erin Bedford, but I love Mary’s attitude. Mary is an Angel on earth that is working as PI. She is trying to find her way back to heaven. There is a lot she must learn and one big one is that there might not be just one way for her to get back to the divine. She sees the change in her cases and knows that something has to be done when she discovers demons are involved. First book in a series. Can’t wait for more.

 

 

 

 

Sex Prescribed- Book Review

I got this book as an ARC for my honest opinion and review. I love the title of this book it just screams that something naughty is going to be inside the pages. Etta has it all. The dream job of being a nurse where she saves lives and her love that was her high school sweetheart. That all ends when she finds him cheating. She just has to escape. That is when the crash happens. Lincoln sees the crash and stops to help and discovers one driver dead and the other struggling to stay conscious. He knows that being a doctor comes first and he has to find a way to save her. So will this doctor and nurse heat things up or will it be all sterile as the operating room? you will have to just read and find out.

 

 

 

 

Dangerous Fling- Book Review

I got this as an ARC for my honest opinion and review. I have read all of the rockstar books up to this point I could not wait to read Mal’s story. I knew there had to be something under that rockstar persona. He has his “friends” while on tour. They are making a video for the latest Dangerous Noise song and that is where Lacey comes in. Lacey is the assistant director on the video and has to stand in because the actress is late showing up. Mal offers to have a little fling with no strings attached. Lacey is not sure if she is dreams or if this is really happening. Will she get the fantasy wants or will Mal love and leaving like his reputation states? You will just have to read and find out.
